Introduction: Number one priority is having fun while working with you to create the perfect ceremony. I have been a wedding officiant since 2012 with experience of over 350 weddings. I am a former owner of a wedding chapel in Tacoma so very familiar with all that goes into planning a wedding! I do not use pre-written scripts. Rather, I prefer to meet with you and your fiance to talk about your ceremony, to hear your story, and to listen to your ideas and to offer mine. Once we do that, I get busy writing a ceremony unique to the two of you. Jan What better day to be a part of than your wedding day. I feel it's my job to create and implement the ceremony YOU want. I promise you this.....the stress of the ceremony will be taken off your shoulders!

Jan came to the rescue. We had a wedding to get together on short notice due to my daughter's fiancé heading back to the UK within 2 weeks. Jan was patient, professional, available, and reassuring during a stressful pre-wedding hustle. The day of the wedding everything went perfect! It helps to have the perfect bride and groom and wonderful families on both sides :). Given the short notice there was not any time for a rehearsal. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have a complicated pricing system. I offer four levels of serive which are: Officiating your ceremony Attending and overseeing your rehearsal Ceremony coordinator the day of your wedding Day of Coordinator
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My background is in marketing and event planning. My nephew and his bride asked me to do the honors of writing and performing their ceremony. 300+ weddings later and here I am. I have since bought The Ruston Chapel, involving myself even more in the wonderful world of weddings. Such a happy time in a couple's life to be part of!
What types of customers have you worked with?
There are no 'common' types as each couple is unique to me. Whether I'm hired to do just your ceremony or to act as your planner for the day, you will receive 100% of my attention.
