- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Wanted to be my own boss, but yet still be able to take care of the animals.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I will do security chores, (take out the garbage, collect the mail, packages, water the plants, daily poop clean up). I've gone so far as mopping every day, a couple times a day due to their dog having accidents in the house. If the client is going to be gone for a long period of time, I'm opposed to some yard work.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have an interview with the pet sitter to make sure they're a good match for you and your pet. Pets are very sensitive and know if they're going to be in good hands. Make sure that the pet sitter will try to keep the routine that he/she is comfortable with so the pet doesn't get stress while his/her Owner is away.
