Julie bartended my large wedding of 250 people. She went above and beyond to be of help preparing for the day, suggesting amounts of alcohol to purchase, and keep in contact with me about details and plans for the day. I only heard positive things from my guests about her and only saw her smiling and enjoying herself throughout the whole night. I would recommend Julie for any event large or small in the area that you need a friendly professional bartender for!

Will was absolutely wonderful! We had an intimate little wedding of 30 people, but even with that low of a head count, there was so much to be coordinated. He took charge in the best way possible--very courteous and collaborative. He was so pleasant to work with and so calm under pressure. He also had such nice mannerisms dealing with all the guests and our wedding party. People loved him. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect because of him and I can't say enough good things about him! Just know that you're in good hands and with him, you'll be able to enjoy every single minute of your special day with no stress or worry!

June provided the flowers for my wedding and also the decor for the reception. Everything turned out so beautiful, from my bouquet to the arbor to the centerpieces. June was flexible when I wanted to change the location for her to drop off my flowers and flexible with other changes that we made to the table layout at the reception. She was very professional and timely and definitely has a lot of experience with weddings. A lot of my guests told me how impressed they were with the set up for the reception and how beautiful the arbor was. I would definitely recommend Blooms and Rooms PDX.

We just celebrated my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary. Liz and company catered our event. Liz and her sister listened to us and took our expectations to heart. They were very professional to deal with. They were prompt in responding to our texts and emails. Liz visited the event location two days ahead so she knows how to setup buffet tables. They showed up hours ahead to prepare. They were friendly and presentable. The food was absolutely delicious and each dish complimented one another. Well where do I start....I guess at the beginning, my first encounter was my wedding. I told her what I wanted and she did not hesitate, the prices were great, the flowers beautiful and she was right on time. Since then I have ordered many flower arrangements from her, birthdays, mother’s day, ECT. Again prices are very fair and the flowers always fresh and delivered in a timely fashion. I worked with Autumn on the Tina & Josh Sanstrum wedding on November 10. It was at the Persimmon Country Club in Gresham. I had worked with Autumn before and knew what to expect. Unlike some other coordinators, she is very relaxed and let's the vendors do their job without any unnecessary distractions. She is flexible with the schedule which is a necessity at most weddings and doesn't hurry through the evening to get the formalities wrapped up quickly. The most important thing for me as a DJ is that she understands that 90 - 120 minutes is more than enough dance time. It's great to work with someone that has a good understanding of how a wedding should flow.

    My wife and I hired Chris as our wedding photographer. He was professional, arrived early, and was flexible with our requests. Everyone loved the photos he took. He found some great backgrounds near our venue to use. The pictures ranged from very candid to staged; but all of them looked awesome!     Nataliya is hands down the best wedding planner a bride could ask for!!! She is extremely detail oriented and will make the best day of your life even better than you could imagine. She will help no matter how big or small the request is. From helping me find the perfect venue to cake to flowers she does it all. On the day of the wedding she made sure all the vendors knew where/what to do without me having to talk to anyone and just focus on being the bride. The venue looked perfect because she listened to everything I wanted and made it magically appear. My bridesmaids loved how kind and respectful she was when helping them find their places for the ceremony and herding them for the never ending photos I wanted. There is hands down no better wedding (or any other event) planner in Portland!!!     My wife should be writing this review, but I want to take a moment to tell you what a great job Lisa (my wife) and Soleil Bliss Event Productions did for us. We had been planning our wedding for about 13 months and from the very beginning my wife knew she wanted a planner. Liz drove from Vancouver, WA to Seattle to meet with us as purely a consultation. Our first impression of Liz was here is a woman who knows how a wedding should be done. Within five minutes we knew we had found our planner. As my wife's vision of the wedding changed over the 13 months Liz was there every step of the way to help with any problems or offer solutions on how to make her plans become reality. The amount of stress that Liz took off my wife's shoulders as our special day drew near was astounding. On the day of our wedding Liz was able to fix a major dress malfunction, whip out two corsages for my wife's mother and my mother, coordinate a less than accommodating venue staff in reference to their idea of decorating, and all this was done after she had stayed up until close to 2 AM to decorate our ceremony and reception areas. Liz took a great event, location, setting, and environment and transformed it into something completely phenomenal. Our expectations were so far exceeded that we could not believe what she had created was our wedding. Thank you so very much Liz. I can't urge anybody reading this enough to talk with Liz and let her plan and coordinate your wedding. You will not regret a single moment nor worry in the slightest that your event will be anything less than extraordinary.

    Vanessa was a wonderful event planner for my daughters first birthday! It wasn't a typical birthday it was one that any girl dreams of! It was a princess ball!         Missi was in charge of my entire wedding ceremony and reception. We weren't sure how everything was going to tie together or even if a few of my ideas would work at all, but because of how prepared missi was and because she has such an amazing talent for turning simple things into something truly magical, everything I hoped for became a reality.         A wedding planner is a professional service provider whose job it is to organize and execute all the details of a couple’s wedding. A wedding planner can be contracted at any stage in the wedding planning process to help to any degree the couple is willing to pay for. Wedding planning is similar to event planning in that a planning team handles the coordination of multiple wedding elements including catering, venue, guests, entertainment, decor, transportation and more. Anyone who has ever been involved in a wedding can confirm that wedding planning is hard work. Experience brings wisdom when it comes to avoiding or resolving day-of challenges. There is no legal regulatory body that oversees or certifies wedding planning as an industry. Anyone who chooses can call themselves a wedding planner.         How much do day-of wedding coordinators cost?

        A day-of wedding coordinator makes sure that every detail of your wedding day goes off without a hitch, and deals quickly and quietly with any last-minute emergencies. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours. Another option is to hire a coordinator to manage the last-minute details leading up to the event; for example, 25 hours of month-of coordination costs an average of $1,200. Several factors affect the cost of day-of coordination, including the region, the planner’s experience, and the specifics of the wedding.         What should you ask a wedding coordinator?

        When you hire a wedding coordinator, you want to make sure he or she gets you and can execute perfectly your vision of your dream wedding. To find the very best fit, it’s important to ask these five questions:

        • Are you available on my wedding date? If the coordinator isn’t available on your big day, there’s no reason to continue the interview — unless you’re willing to shift your date to accommodate their schedule.
        • What’s average cost of most of your weddings? If the coordinator’s usual wedding is outside your range, they might not be the right coordinator for you. Ask whether the coordinator requires a minimum wedding budget. In general, the wedding coordinator’s fee should be about 15 percent of your budget.
        • What is your speciality? Some coordinators specialize in day-of coordination, some create the overall vision, and others act as a producer. Make sure your wedding coordinator provides the type of services that will most help you create the event you have in mind, such as selecting vendors and handling their contracts, or managing the guest list and invitations.
        • What are your ideas for fulfilling our wedding vision? After you describe your dream wedding — rustic or sophisticated, traditional or funky — the wedding coordinator should be able to suggest appropriate venues, menus, decorations, etc..

        Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

        Even if you’ve handled every detail of planning your wedding, you might appreciate having a day-of wedding coordinator in your corner. Usually, the coordinator meets with you a few weeks before your wedding to put together a detailed timeline of everything that needs to happen on your wedding day. Then, on the big day, the coordinator makes sure everything goes according to plan — and handles any emergencies that pop up, such as party crashers, missing tuxedos, late vendors, disappearing bridal party members and more. Most wedding coordinators also handle:

        • Distributing the wedding day timeline to all of your vendors.
        • Coordinating all of your vendors, including the photographer, florist and baker.
        • Conducting the wedding rehearsal.
        • Helping the bride and her wedding party get dressed and take photos.
