My experience thus far with Ruff Acdemy has been excellent. The trainers are compassionate and loving. They are driven and passionate about empowering dog owners; with the best training techniques, advice and help. The classes are fun and interactive. I have seen such growth my puppy in such short time. Rebekah has been readily available to me with questions and concerns that come up with my puppy. She is an amazing trainer. Lastly, her classes are very affordable and she has many different levels of training. I would highly recommend Ruff Academy to anyone looking to train their dog. You will love it!!!

About

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 2007 with a major in psychology, and part of that was taking canine psychology one and two with my professor who is considered the dog whisperer of the Midwest. I was paid up to $500 per hour. I have looked up to this man and he is my role model in life, as I have never met a man as interested and passionate about dogs as I am, along with the knowledge he has given me, as dogs are my life. I shadowed him for over a year and bought my German Shepherd Mya, my baby girl who is 5, which I trained myself along with doing agility courses and other work with her and other dogs I have trained. I have helped in changing behavior in dogs and modifying it for specific needs along with teaching you training skills, working with you and your dog to connect and have them learn not just from myself but rather from you, their owner, with my guidance. You can contact me if you do have a question and need my help as I'm happy to work with you and your companion.

About

In my 15 years working with animals I have been fortunate to participate in some very unique and cutting edge training experiences. These experiences have taught me that sometimes you need to "think outside the box" to get results. You need to know and understand the animal your training. Once you realize what motivates them, the sky is the limit.as to what they can learn.

I am a certified dog trainer (through the APDT) with a Master's degree in Animal Behavior. I offer basic dog training and behavior modification for dogs with behavior problems (aggression, barking, difficulty walking, house training, crate training, and more). I am my own person and do other things as well. The basic things I care for are pets (any animals). The other things I do include taking care of cleaning around the house/home. I have very flexible hours. Depending on the kind of animal, I do basic training for rabbits, dogs, cats, and guinea pigs.

Wags-N-Woofs offers several options to fit your training needs. - Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA). - Member of Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) - Member of Pet Professional Guild (PPG) - Pet First Aid Certified. In-home training brings classroom curriculum to your living room! Get the training you and your dog needs, without the hassle of finding, scheduling and getting to class across town each week. You and your dog are always #1! Private behavior consultations are available to address specific concerns, behavior problems, or aggression issues. Day training is geared towards busy pet parents; drop your dog off for the day or schedule in-home training during the work day. Your dog will benefit from one-on-one training while you are hard at work! Puppy University is a fast-tracked classroom curriculum. Your dog or puppy stays with us for 2, 3, or 4 weeks and learns as much as (or more than) a dog in a typical 6- to 8-week group class. Private, in-home, follow-up sessions are included in Puppy University tuition to help you get the most of your dog's training. Work day pet sitting gives your dog a potty break and a chance to stretch his or her legs while you are at work. Out-of-town pet sitting provides peace of mind to pet parents who are going out of town. With three different packages to choose from, you can be sure we have an option to fit your specific situation. Wags-N-Woofs also offers boarding, for those times when leaving Fido and Fluffy at home isn't an option. Pets stay in our home, not in a sterile, cold kennel environment. We only take 1 to 3 boarders at a time, so your dog will always be in a fun, relaxed setting.
