I will come to you and your k9 to help with any problem you might be having - from aggression to problems with walking and everything in between. I am now taking on new customers. Don't go spend a couple hundred dollars on training that might work. My methods are all natural to the k9 and will help to make a balanced k9 in your home. No special equipment is needed to help you and your k9 companion. If you would like more info, please feel free to contact k9 Rehab.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 2007 with a major in psychology, and part of that was taking canine psychology one and two with my professor who is considered the dog whisperer of the Midwest. I was paid up to $500 per hour. I have looked up to this man and he is my role model in life, as I have never met a man as interested and passionate about dogs as I am, along with the knowledge he has given me, as dogs are my life. I shadowed him for over a year and bought my German Shepherd Mya, my baby girl who is 5, which I trained myself along with doing agility courses and other work with her and other dogs I have trained. I have helped in changing behavior in dogs and modifying it for specific needs along with teaching you training skills, working with you and your dog to connect and have them learn not just from myself but rather from you, their owner, with my guidance. You can contact me if you do have a question and need my help as I'm happy to work with you and your companion.
Best Friend & Companion Dog Training is run by Silvia Golz in Appleton, Wisconsin. Silvia offers puppy and dog obedience training.
Hi. I have experience in training cats and dogs on how to behave more. I am not really experienced, but dog walking would be a good job for me. I am looking for something different in my life, and I love animals. Dog sitting is more in my arena.
We offer dog massage and dog training. I provide therapeutic animal massage and wellness and also provide training for dogs and their owners.
K911 provides an accelerated learning program for large/medium breeds of all ages, where your dog is boarded, trained in obedience, socialized, vigorously exercised and groomed -- all for a price that's comparable to most kennels. We offer both a 1-week program and a 2-week program. You will receive a YouTube video of your dog working with a master trainer and a canine behaviorist, Brad Wolfert, along with a detailed report of its progress that includes individualized instructions to keep your dog behaving once he's/she's home. We offer free pickup and drop-off anywhere in SE Wisconsin and a complimentary 2-hour in-home training session when he or she returned. Your pooch will run and play like a dog on our over 15 acres of land located next to the pristine Terry Andrae State Park in Sheboygan, WI, where he or she can swim and enjoy the beach of Lake Michigan. At the same time, your dog will be strictly trained in house manners, dog socialization, agility, obedience, hand signals, and perfect heeling and given strong leadership that will help even the most unruly dogs overcome their challenges -- even dog-on-dog aggression. Your pups' nails will be clipped, paw fur trimmed, and teeth brushed; they'll be bathed, and lastly de-shedded, so they come home looking, smelling and acting better than before. Brad Wolfert of K911 is a seasoned dog handler with over a decade of experience and specializes in large/medium breeds. He also trains service dogs for disabled individuals and military veterans. He believes in a practical, no-nonsense approach that gives positive results and has a unique style that's unlike most trainers you'll find today. His love for dogs is what drives him to be successful, and his passion for training is apparent to all who know him.
The main components of my business range from basic training behaviors for new puppies and older dogs still needing basic skills to various types of behavior modification. Some examples include separation anxiety, aggression towards other dogs or people, fear aggression, socialization challenges, taming bully breeds, etc. I am the proud mother to my Pit Bull, Tyson, but unfortunately, I have had to overcome several obstacles due to the perceptions of his breed. Because of those experiences, I have a strong passion for working with the bully breeds and educating people about their great qualities and why their bad reputations have less to do with them and more to do with the individuals who own them. I moved back to the area recently but have spent the last 10 years at Disney World in Florida, caring for and training the primates at Animal Kingdom. I also pet sit, dog walk and provide in-home medical care.
I facilitate an open line of communication with canine companions. I build a strong bond between companions and pet parents through obedience training and brain enrichment exercises. I offer specialty classes such as trick training, socialization, behavior modification, and one-on-one private lessons.
If you check every possible box on Thumbtack, please include a note in your request about what you really need for your dog. There is no such thing as a dog trainer unless you are in a specialized field using K-9 or service dogs who need long term intense training. For the rest of us, a good trainer is really a friend and coach or mentor for you and your dog. I am a long time volunteer trainer for Winnegamie Dog Club. My classes are limited in size and fill quickly. I do provide coaching privately for select pets and their families where we all feel we can be a good fit working together. Whoever you select should be showing you how to connect with your dog, select the right equipment and treats, read his body language and make sure your voice, posture and stance are what your own dog wants to see and hear. For most people and their dogs, individual lessons or privates are not the way to start out. Your pup or dog will not get the social skills with other dogs, people and new places he really needs. Winnegamie, Oshkosh and Packerland Kennel Clubs offer great group training sessions in large professional buildings. If you must, BIg Box pet stores also have classes mixed in among the aisles of food, fish and fur. My role is to help you hone and polish your skills, especially if you, or your dog, just doesn't seem to be getting it.
