Kelly is a fantastic music teacher. Her love for music and teaching is evident. My daughter is taking violin lessons with her and has improved a great deal. Kelly was able to recognize, within a few lessons, the areas in which she needed the most help. Kelly also makes the lessons fun and easy to understand. She is a treasure!
He was so great with my grandchild ! Very easy to learn from
Sharon has been an excellent instructor for my daughter. It is very apparent during my observation of the lessons that she has a rich background in music. When critiquing, she always leads with something positive and creates a very comfortable environment in which to learn. She also has no problem tailoring the lessons depending on the particular interests or strengths of the student. I would highly recommend her as an instructor.
I was completely happy with Chuck's Bass and Guitar Studios! I have been a guitar instructor for about 15 years and like to take guitar lessons myself every so often. Last summer I took a few months of lessons from Chuck and it was awesome. I saw his name on a guitar lesson add and recognized it from Henris Music. He was kind enough to let me right into his studio and loaded me up with work. He recognized quickly what I could use to improve and grow my playing. He had a positive and encouraging attitude. His background is pretty cool and his knowledge is very complete. I hope to get over again to get more instruction in the future. I would recommend Chuck as a Teacher and person. He could charge 2X the amount he does and you would still be getting a great deal. ~Jesse Gyldenvand
I work with Jeff on a regular basis and he is an excellent guitarist and teacher. He is familiar with many different styles and knows the instrument well! Jeff is a friendly person, and he's loved in the music community by his peers and his students seem to like him as well! I highly recommend Jeff as a teacher!
Great first lesson. Very excited to work on my technique so I can attain a rhythm and gain some consistency. Thanks again!
Zakk Abitz is the lead guitarist and vocalist of the popular local band, Bad Habitz. Zakk Abitz is looking to teach beginner to intermediate guitar lessons (electric and acoustic). He is very good with people and loves what he does. Every lesson is filled with disciplined learning, but still fun filled and interesting for the student.
I will teach you as much as you desire to learn at your pace. It is all custom to what you want and are capable of on your time. As part of my services I will teach you how to take care of your guitar properly. I can also perform full setups on your instruments and I am more than willing to teach my students any of the knowledge I have.
Here at BMFM, we are musicians, not guys who were hired to do a job. Our lessons are individually designed for each student. We understand that everyone is different and has different goals, skill levels, and interests. We teach a curriculum that will have you playing and even writing your own material in just 12 sessions. Yup, you can keep coming to us for years to perfect techniques and get pointers if you'd like, but we don't want you to feel like you have to. It's time to get out there and start creating the best music in the world, even if it's just in your bedroom.
I will teach you basic guitar chords, and within 2 to 3 weeks, you will be playing your own songs.

I am a guitar teacher, band organizer, and conductor. I offer guitar lessons for most styles and structuring bands. I have been playing for 40-plus years, on stage and studio, coast to coast. I also offer band structuring, teaching dynamics, and band-member selection for success.
I have been in several accomplished bands and have written close to a thousand songs. I love to share my knowledge, enthusiasm, and shortcuts to attentive beginners of any age. Experienced in all aspects of modern music making, I engage students with a "big-picture" learning style that simultaneously and easily teaches the guitar, percussion, and vocals, and I always let the students decide what they want to learn! The guitar is made easy and fun. For more involved music makers, I offer songwriting assistance and instruction. As a bonus, I guarantee that I can make anyone, no matter how horrible they sound now, into a great singer quickly! My rates are reasonable, and the time spent is memorable. Feel free to contact references of current clients upon request. All ages are encouraged. Blessings.

Being largely self-taught, with some help along the way- I have a "non-traditional" way of teaching using patterns, computer software such as Capo, as well as teaching the basic music vocabulary that a new musician may come across. Having been a Professors assistant at the Tech College in Madison I can proudly say that I can communicate effectively with anyone willing to listen, and I can tailor my presentation in many ways so it is easily understood. I also have built an electric guitar and know how to properly adjust guitars to make them easier to play, sound better and keep them "healthy."
I believe that the most effective way to learn music is to play the music that genuinely interests you. No matter what your age or musical preference is, I can help you better your guitar skills and techniques.

I have been playing guitar (electric, acoustic, and bass guitar) for over 10 years. Over the last decade, I have learned many genres and taught a plethora of people that exact knowledge I have retained. My passions include the blues, classic rock, alternative rock, jazz, and teaching you how to be the master of your instrument. While growing up, I had a driven thirst for acquiring the skill and knowledge to make me the best musician possible; however, after 2 years of going through three different teachers and being back at the point I started at, I wanted to give up. I then took the initiative of learning on my own and went further than I had ever dreamed. I know exactly what it takes to teach any aged mind what they want to know, need to know, and everything that makes them feel accomplished when they pick up that guitar and shred away. Please contact me for any questions whatsoever. I would love to help by answering them and allowing you to get to know me.
I used to teach music about seven years ago. I figure, if anyone really wants to learn how to play live music and not have to learn things the hard way, I offer a few shortcuts that can get you started on your path.
