FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$25 for 30 minutes $50 for 1 hour $37 for 45 minutes (not common)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually, a new student contacts me, and we exchange a few emails to see if we might be a good student/teacher fit. Then we schedule a meeting (often a first lesson, but if the student doesn't have a violin yet, it's still beneficial to meet) where we talk about the student's goals and how I can help achieve them. After that, we schedule lessons and get set up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor of music and a master of music in violin performance. I've been teaching lessons since I was 14, taking classes and workshops to help me add a solid pedagogical foundation to my keenly intuitive teaching. I have played in many symphony orchestras, but my current focus is in chamber music.
