FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We bill a monthly fee for year-round lessons. The year is split into three trimesters: Fall, Spring & Summer, but you can start any time! Most beginning students start by enrolling in 30-minute or 40-minute weekly lessons. As of Fall 2021, Ms Emily is currently enrolling private 30-minute students. The cost is $90/month for weekly lessons at our Wauwatosa studio. Please contact us for full pricing details and current openings.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the first lesson, we will first get to know each other a bit and talk about past experience in music or the piano if applicable. If the student has played previously, we love to hear them play a piece or two that they really enjoy playing to get a sense of their musical preferences, playing style and what they have previously covered. Then we jump right in! Even brand new beginners will leave the first lesson knowing at least one song to play at home. Every student will leave every lesson knowing exactly what they should practice and accomplish before the next lesson. Students always leave smiling!
