Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Linda Numagami has experience teaching those as young as 4 to adults. She previously was a Morse Teaching Fellow at the Harmony Program in New York City and a teacher at MusicLaunch Boston. Her musical education is from the prestigious New England Conservatory BM and the Juilliard School MM. I love playing music together! I was lucky to have teachers that made me laugh and feel motivated to keep learning.

Mrs. Numagami was an amazing teacher. She was patient, articulate and was able to keep my mind captivated through the whole lesson. She comes up with great activities to do that relate to what she is teaching. She also plays in the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, which is amazing!! Highly recommend!

Linda combines the brilliance of her musical ability with her thoughtful teaching skills. The result is my daughter is learning and loving her lessons.

Linda is an enthusiastic, thoughtful and kind teacher and a wonderful musician. Her insight and practical advice have helped me grow as a player and a person. I could not recommend her teaching more!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge by the month, and guarantee 4 lessons per month. My rates also depend on if the student comes to me or I travel to them.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

When I was in high school my orchestra teacher asked me to help.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I regularly teach K-12. I have also tutored 18-24 years olds in Solfege (musical literacy). One of my favorite teaching experiences was in combination with a behavioral therapist for a 4 year old boy learning to play the violin. He loved to play the violin and called it, "this one!". His joy was unabashed and he learned how to better communicate to others, by learning the violin.
