Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I've been mixing music together as a DJ for nearly 20 years. Received some great stage experience at night clubs and raves in Minneapolis in the mid-late 2000's and then moved to Wisconsin. Nothing can compare to the feeling of having two songs meld together to make a seamless transition and keeping the crowd dancing all night long. I love seeing the joy on guests faces and seeing just how exhausted they become from the non-stop dancing. I'm also a daddy to 3 little girls 6 and younger. If you are going to have a good number of young children at your reception, let's connect. I specialize in making the kids and adults have just as much fun making the night as special as you!

We had an awesome experience with Ryan. He was extremely easy to contact prior to the wedding, and made our crazy wedding-planning lives easier by not needing to worry about our DJ! He is definitely a family-orientated guy, great for family events such as a wedding. He insisted on arriving at our reception before guests arrived (free of charge) so he would be all set up and ready to go, rather than interrupting dinner with set-up. He also provided lovely background music during dinner (also free of charge), which was a great touch! Ryan was great with the kiddos during the time after dinner/during cleanup and before dancing. He gave them glowsticks and played songs they enjoyed (like The Greatest Showman and Frozen - which I also loved BTW!). Finally, we had requested a ton of songs ahead of time, and he played many of our requested songs, while making sure to mix up the tempos, add in a few additional requests, and keep the party alive! We had SO MANY people dancing, which was amazing!! Thank you Ryan for doing such an amazing job! -Brittany & Tucker

Ryan showed up plenty early on the day of so everything was set up before anyone arrived, and provided and set up uplighting that looked great! He kept people on the dance floor all night and even had some fun himself. Awesome work!

Ryan was a wonderful Dj. Did all the work on his own. I was very indecisive on what kind of music i wanted at my wedding but i threw out some ideas for him & he was able to play just the right music! He is great with the kids too! I highly recommend Dance with Dignity entertainment for any good family function!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

First and foremost, I provide customized up-lighting for every wedding client. It's my service to you for booking with me. With that, my pricing is always, all-inclusive. Which means, travel, set-up/takedown time is covered in the price. This also includes dinner music and or cocktail hour(s). It's your wedding, and I want the entertainment to be as smooth of a transaction as possible. No nickel and diming. Just one price and done. Then you can focus on the planning the rest of your special day.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically, if a client is within 100 miles, I try to meet with the couple at least once, if not twice, to get to know each other and ask any questions that may come up. I feel its best to get to know your entertainment before your day. That way we feel more comfortable when the big day comes and we can dance the night away.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been a radio DJ and in the DJ/music business since 1998, quite nearly 20 years! I've also been a DJ at clubs and raves in the Twin Cities before moving to Wisconsin in 2009. Getting people dancing has been my thing for as long as I can remember.
