Alex definitely helped me take my training to the next level. I had a routine which was working alright, but he showed me a different way of looking at fitness and lots of new and exciting exercises to go along with it. From what I've seen, his approach can be applied to people in any situation from wanting to get back into shape to wanting to perfect their already successful regimen. He truly is a guru who will give you sound advice no matter what you're seeking to do with your body.
After my son was bullied by 6 boys, I decided it was time to seek self defense classes. At first visit to ATF&MA, it was an intense scene of 15-20 people doing stick fighting drills. Seeing this and also being a fan of Bruce Lee, I knew we were in the right place. We were initially there for my son but I knew immediately that this was also something I wanted to do. Coming off a 2 year couch potato session, we were immediately partaking in physical conditioning in addition to learning self defense techniques of Jeet Kune Do. Within a few weeks I was no longer feeling like I was going to die during the physical workouts and was actually more energetic, confident and mentally clear from the workouts, as was my son. Elliott is an exceptional trainer. He takes the time to explain and is patient in going over moves as many times as it takes until it sinks in. All of the classmates are fun and friendly and supporting of each other whether one is a beginner or an advanced participant. The training is a blast and is one of the best things I've ever done. I'm happy for the positive, energetic, and motivating atmosphere and environment. In addition to the above, Elliott is also a motivating and inspiring speaker in sharing relevant life events and also provides videos of each lesson for practice outside of class. I would recommend this training to anyone.
Ryan had the most knowledge and experience on getting to that next level of fitness and that is exactly what I needed in a trainer. He pushed me to become a stronger and more disciplined athlete. A real class act, would recommend.

Training with Ryan, my strength, endurance and speed has improved beyond what I ever though was possible. In addition, his nutritional advice helped me to eat healthier (and more!) than I'd been eating before...and what a difference that makes! From the serious athlete to someone trying to lose weight and get into shape, I recommend Ryan over any other trainer in this area. I've been working with Nate since the end of January. He's very knowledgeable in what he does and tailors the workouts to fit your skill level and advances the workouts as you progress. He's assisted me in changing my diet and encourages good fitness habits. He's easy going and fun to be around. So far I've lost almost 30 pounds! 👍🏽
Jane and Matt are both great to work with. We alternate between both because they both have different personalities as well as workouts and it's great to mix it up and keep it fresh. Gentle intensity (GI) is right on. We are entering our third month with them - and still loving the workouts and the results. Highly recommend them.
Chevy is the best trainer I've ever had - and I've had several! Never the same without twice - he keeps it fun! No matter what kinda mood I'm in, he gets me to stick with it and stay motivated!!! I like him so much, he also trains my 16 yo son! Highly recommend to everyone. Whatever your age or fitness level? He can definitely help you!!!
Dylan takes his job seriously and it's there to make me a better person. When I think I can't do a technic he is teaching me, he punches me to give my best and is patient to work around the level of intensity with each of his clients. If you follow his suggestions and do the plan he has created to fit the needs of its client, you will start seeing results after a few weeks.
My wife and I have been training with Jeremy Belter for approximately 1-1/2 years. We are part of the baby boomer and older market. Jeremy has been amazing for us! Every workout is SAFE, yet still challenging, fun and results oriented. Jeremy truly cares about his clients and really wants them to be successful whatever their goals. We have noticed increased strength, better balance and increased energy. The short, ½ hour, high intensity workouts, a few times a week fit into our schedule easily.
