My basement floor, size approximately 435 sq. ft., needed leveled. The floor height varied up to five and six inches toward the center. It sloped downward toward the drain in the front and back upward toward the front wall. The floor was painted concrete from at least 50 years ago, and in a few spots the concrete was slightly chipped and cracked. The rear of the basement had a slight slope but was not as drastic as the front part. I had cement contractors suggesting to break up only the front half of the existing concrete and pour new concrete. I also had another flooring contractor willing to pour the leveling compound Ardex. Cost for the Ardex job would have been $3,200, but that was for using only twenty-five 50# bags of Ardex. If I needed any more bags of Ardex, I would have to assume the cost after the first 25 bags at a cost of $60.00 per bag. I was very reluctant to do this. I found Bamm Flooring and Construction with a very good rating and called them. Tony Georgevich said he could use Quikrete Concrete Mix for leveling, as long as I covered the finished floor with either slate, ceramic or porcelain tile. Tony, Adrian and Ray did an excellent job. They worked for about two weeks from 7:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The floor still had some unevenness. However, it was 95% improved. They ended up using over 117 bags of 60# Quikrete @ $2.78/bag. I was so glad I did not use the Ardex product. After this leveling was complete, they laid the tile. This floor required 30 cartons of Brazilian Slate Porcelain. My basement floor is such an improvement that I actually love working in it now. Tony is a perfectionist and you can tell he is proud of his work. I would recommend this company for any flooring job, regardless of the difficulty. After they finished the floor, I asked if Adrian could help me unclog my gutters and insert gutter guards, which he did. Overall, I am very happy with the job that these guys did and would call on them again for flooring or other household projects.

We had exceptional experience with Jeff Furner. We contacted Jeff and he came right over to discuss the work that needed done. He came back the next day to install and hook up gas lines for our fireplace project. His experience and extensive knowledge was amazing! He knew all the codes and provided various alternatives. The work involved underground running of the gas line with some to be under concrete. Jeff’s work is very impressive, he was able to complete all that needed done and left us with a working fireplace in just a few hours. Jeff went above and beyond our expectations, we only expected for him to provide us with working gas line to hook up our fireplace. He not only provided us with the working gas line but stayed and helped with the installation of the fireplace as well. Jeff’s work is top quality and to code. He takes his time and does it right. Beside the great work from Jeff, our experience with him is that he is personable, easy to talk to, honest and genuinely wants the best solution for your project. I would definitely recommend Jeff to any of my family or friends. We saw nothing that he would need improvement on. His work is top notch and we have had no problems with his work. We highly recommend his services!

I had some trouble with stucco on our home: Vance construction were one of the very few contractors that were certified to make the repairs. I contacted Joe Vance by phone and we made arrangements for him to give me a bid the following week. Joe and his crew were prompt, he kept me appraised of any possible problems and on the status of the repairs. Joe and his crew showed up when they said they would be here. Their work ethic was outstanding, they were very proffessional, and the quality of work was excellent. Joe and his crew always had proper tools on site and except for taking a brief lunch the crew was constantly in motion. I would and have recommended Vance Construction to friends and family. I trust Joe and his crew and in todays world that is not an easy thing to attest.

I highly recommend Mickey and Kamden G. Contracting. He contacted me right away. He worked my project into his busy schedule. He offered the best price. Most importantly, he did a terrific job grading and leveling my driveway. He went above and beyond, filling in ruts and moving a log that was next to the driveway and was impacting drainage. What a nice guy!
