5. Anya Grace Yoga
"I teach yoga in private, studio, and corporate setting. Having completed hundreds of hours of diverse trainings, my style of teaching is flexible and adaptable to the needs of whoever I am working with.
Through years of experience working with individuals and groups on an interpersonal level, I know how to make any situation feel comfortable. So if you are new to yoga or unsure about how to begin a wellness practice, I can help you feel at ease. I have a B.S. in Neuroscience which has added immensely to my understanding of how the practices of yoga and meditation benefit our physiological health.
Whether you are working to increase flexibility or strength, lower stress, shift emotional patterns, balance hormones, or find more focus, we will work together to figure out what best suits you. (I.e. If you are seeking healing or a mental/emotional shift, we will work with practices that activate the parasympathetic nervous system for deep relaxation.)
My main priority is to communicate clearly and make my students feel that they are getting the most out of each session.
Having a daily meditation routine and daily yoga practice shifted my life dramatically. Once I became a teacher, I felt a sense of purpose unlike anything I had ever experienced.
I have found a center of deep contentment, trust, and confidence through the practices of yoga and meditation and as a teacher, it is these feelings that I hope to lead others to within their own practice again and again.
The opportunity to build relationships with my students and shift their day within 60-90 minutes is what I enjoy most about my job."
