- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my clients so I can teach in a way that works best for them. There are three types of learning: visual, auditory, and kinetic. Everyone has a mix of these in different ratios. My job is to figure out how to present my knowledge in the best way for you to absorb the information.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from New School for the Arts, played in many bands across the country, and I grew up with a musical family. I also went to school to build and repair stringed instruments.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've taught people as young as 7 and as old as 60. Everyone can learn to play music. All it takes is the right teacher and the right equipment. That is why I offer to set-up your instrument on the first lesson to have it play best for you.
