- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
B.M. in Guitar Performance from Webster University in St. Louis, MO. Additional studies in counterpoint, orchestration, composition, arranging and audio engineering. Former instructor at the St. Louis Academy for Guitar, NYOS Charter School and Northwest School of Music. 500+ live performances as a soloist and member of bands, orchestras and stage productions. Past clients: Brooks Running, Major League Soccer, Tiffany & Co, AT&T. Experience in classical, jazz, blues, Motown, folk, country, rock, metal, hip-hop, and pop styles.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started teaching in 2009 as a volunteer for Orchestrating Diversity, a community outreach program for under-resourced kids.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with children, teens and adults. Some of my students were absolute beginners when they came to me while others had years of playing experience. In addition, I've worked with students with both physical and mental disabilities.
