- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will begin by discussing your goals, interests, and reasons for taking lessons, so that I can focus our time on exercises and practices that will best serve you. In a typical lesson, we'll then cover the foundational physical and mental basics of singing, from breathing and posture to relaxation techniques and diction. We'll explore your current vocal range and habits with some basic warm-ups and identify any challenges or insecurities to target, then start working on them by singing through a song that you love. To finish, we'll reassess your initial progress and go over exercises that you can do at home to build skills and prepare for your next lesson.
