FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate begins at $60 for one hour of lessons. When you sign up for a Monthly Lessons Plan, you save on the hourly rate and gain some extra perks. You save even more and gain more benefits when you sign up for my Quarter Lesson Plan! Pricing is adjusted accordingly for students looking for 30 minute lesson plans and 45 minute lesson plans. Once you've completed your first month of lessons, you become eligible for my Referral Rewards Program: You can give friends a free 30 minute lesson, and when they sign up for their free lesson, I reward you with 30 minutes of lesson time on me!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first offer a phone interview with the student's parent/ guardian, or the student (18 or older), to discuss their goals, favorite music, why they want to learn their instrument, other interests and any other needs or requests. If I think they are dedicated and motivated, I give more info about lessons and policies, and we'll establish an evaluation lesson to confirm that we will be a good fit for lessons. Once a new student has committed to a lesson package, I'll prepare our curriculum with adjustments to fit their specific needs for their first lesson!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
