Introduction: Hello! I've been a freelance videographer in Oregon since 2002. Over the years I've done the gamut including filming interviews, events, corporate gigs, run-and-gun scenarios, live broadcast, BTS, documentary work, and yes, lots of B-roll. I'm located in Beaverton Oregon within 12 miles of downtown Portland.
I'm experienced with a wide range of cameras -- from DSLRs to traditional broadcast cameras and can help you tailor the right gear to your job depending on the budget and other needs. I can shoot time-lapse, slow motion, POV as well as multiple camera setups. I own a range of compact tungsten and LED lighting kits and a basic audio kit (lavs, shotgun boom mic).
Clients include PBS, ESPN, CNN, Vox Media, Food Network, National Science Foundation, Nike, Adidas, and loads of independent producers and production companies.
I enjoy trying to capture visuals that help tell a complete story. Since having experience as a videographer and an editor, it's given me a very practical approach to shooting with an editor in mind...capturing imagery that tells a story. From wide establishing shots, time lapse and background plates to POV, transitional and close-up detail shots.
