FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing varies based on the event and what services you need me to take care of for you. I also try my hardest to work with couples and families or individuals because we all need help at some point. So I'm willing to negotiate my rate based on the client's needs, but general for full service wedding planning my price starts at $4000.00
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process consist of sitting down face-to-face or via telephone with a client and knowing from the start what type of event you are looking to have. A lot of times clients aren't completely sure what they want and that's okay. I just need a few details of what you're looking for and I'll build and event profile from there. I discuss your budget during this meeting and any concerns you have that you want me to pay special attention too. We also go over what exactly you would like me to do. Some people want complete event planning from start to finish, whereas others only need help with a few key areas. All of this is discussed during our initial visit. And depending on your time schedule we discuss decorations, food, entertainment, invitations at this same meeting or at our next meeting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm completely self-taught! I spent 2 years assisting an event-planner and learning the ropes from her so to speak and then I decided that I wanted to do this for myself. More than anything successful event planning requires patience, an eye for detail and common sense. And just to make sure I keep up with industry standards I have taken a few courses online for event planning and was awarded certificates for completion. But overall my biggest goal has been to provide what every person wants when they ask for my services and to go above and beyond their expectations. This has helped me to be successful.
