FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep an eye on the current market to ensure my rates are fair to my clients as well as to myself. Another factor I consider when quoting is making sure I'm being fair to other contractors in the industry. More than once I've had to raise my quote after reviewing it simply out of fairness to the other pros who are out there getting after it just like me. Not everyone in my field shares my beliefs, or passion for putting things in order. Some people do this kind of work because their bills require payment. I simply function in the capacity for which I was designed and ensure that every component of every machine I encounter does likewise and I live in a constant state of amazement that people see enough value in this that they help meet the needs of my family as well as myself, and I am grateful to the Creator for it all.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended the Alabama Power Heat Pump Training Center in Verbena Alabama and completed every course I took barely missing perfect scores because of a misspelled word(long story)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
my whole family works in the HVAC industry . I started when I was 14 years old , working for my uncles during the summer. That was almost 30 years ago. I've worked in the HVAC /electrical fields the entire time since then.
