FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Learning what they like and what kind of food experience they want. Then creating a menu for the special day or week. Then I will do the grocery shopping, and arrive to their residence and prepare the meals for the event or for the day. Depending if they want a one time event or a weekly service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my degree in Culinary Arts from the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved cooking. I learned early from watching my mom cook amazing Italian dishes. From there the passion for cooking had begun. Through out my years in middle school and high school I volunteered to feed the homeless and hungry of the area. I would cook meals to feed a 100+ people of the homeless and hungry and bring it to the location of service. Seeing the smiles on their face and the way people came together is truly what made me fall in love with cooking over and over again. From that point on I knew I wanted to be chef. I love private chef work because I get to work with the client directly and help them. Whether they are too busy too cook, want to get healthier, learned of food allergies they have and need help cooking, or want to have an impressive dinner party for their friends and family I am here to help them.
