Jordan was my son's fiddle instructor. We absolutely loved working with Jordan. He explained things so that our son could easily understand it. You can tell that he is so passionate about music and loves what he does. He would take the time each week to make a video for our son to use for practice at home. We only stopped taking lessons because our son's basketball schedule prevented us from doing both. If we decide to start lessons again, we will definitely return to Jordan.

My son is ASD & ADHD. He can be difficult at times. Jordan took on the challenge of teaching my son how to play banjo. He is learning at a slower pace than the typical student however he is learning. Jordan is punctual, communicates well, maintains professionalism in his area of expertise and he developes a good relationship between himself and his students which is important. I do not regret the choice made to have him teach my son. I also would recommend him to anyone who is interested in learning to play any of the instruments of which he teaches. If he can teach my son he can teach just about anyone if they themselves have a willingness to learn.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
if you are able to take lessons in the early afternoon I can teach from my house. The cost there is 15$ per half hour. It is more expensive in the evening because I rent a studio room at the music store.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The FIRST LESSON is FREE! We’ll meet, talk about what you want to learn, and I’ll assess your current playing level. We’ll discuss a lesson plan and get to know each other a little better.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied with great instructors locally. I have attended camps and workshops to learn with professionals and masters of the Bluegrass genre. I am able to learn solos note for note by ear. I can tab these out and help you learn this process. You will be able to figure out chords and melodies by ear within a few months as long as you are practicing. I also gig regularly with Tyrone Dunn, play lead guitar at CHrist United Methodist church, and gig with Bluegrass bands in Bowling Green and Nashville.
