every time I met with Dr. Ford I left feeling hopeful and empowered and supported. I've gone through many difficult life issues recently (loss of a parent, breakup with my partner, moving 2 times, and major stress in my new business). I'm always amazed with how quickly Dr. Ford drills to the core issue and gives me fresh perspectives and tools for working through it. This man has so much wisdom, patience, and gentleness--yet he can also see through BS and call me on it. He's helped me discover and grow into my "best self". There are no words to describe how invaluable he has been to me work through many difficulties and come out of it feeling confident and capable-rather than defeated and hopeless (which is what I felt when I started working with him)

Victor Ford is a brilliant psychotherapist. I can say this with “authority,” as it took me a long time, and many therapists, to find one who could help me with my depression, alcoholism and abusive childhood baggage. Vic is so easy to talk to/with. He has a gentle, yet focused and erudite way of helping me look at the man (me) behind the curtain. He has stuck with me patiently and compassionately through some very difficult situations. He’s helped me learn and grow from these challenges, instead of getting buried beneath them. Dr. Ford’s knowledge and experience is amazing. He draws from a deep pool which includes psychotherapy, theology, spirituality and physiology. In short: mind, body, spirit and soul. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My full fee is 150. For Thumbtack and because I am building my Florida practice I have reduced it to 100. I don't turn people away. If insurance will not pay or financial restraints are present I will negotiate my fee
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It takes a little time to get to know you, get clear on your issues, develop a treatment plan with you and build trust. Later we will evaluate your progress and develop a new plan if necessary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold advanced degrees in theology ( helps with spiritual therapy) And a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have also mastered grief and divorce recovery I have studied Emotionally Focussed Therapy for relational healing and Meridian therapy and Chokra work to bring quick relief from emotional pain and to lower anxiety and change the negative core beliefs that can destroy a persons life.
