Voice and Piano Lessons
Introduction: I am a recent graduate of a Masters degree from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston and I’m eager to teach voice and piano to students in SoCal. I have been teaching for 6 years and my students have gotten into the performing colleges of their choice and have landed lead roles in musicals and operas. My piano students have performed in recitals and have gained knowledge of theory and aural training as well.
I love watching my students grow and learn. Whether students are eager to prepare for performances or auditions, or just wanting to learn because it makes them happy, I’m happy to teach.

Julia is a huge reason I am the singer I am today! She has so much knowledge to share in different vocal stylings, but she has especially helped me in my musical theatre career. She covers all the basics, and then some! Because she has a musical theatre background, she has been able to help me with selecting music for auditions, technical singing, and acting values. And with her extensive opera training, she has helped me build my upper vocal range, which has allowed me to be extremely versatile in the musical theatre world.
Julia is an absolute gem, and I have loved being able to work with her. She is extremely professional, positive, constructive, and honest. She has always been quick to respond, and has been extremely flexible with lessons, especially in tight squeezes. I cannot tell you how many times I have contacted with with less than 24 hours notice for an upcoming audition, and she was more than willing to fit me in to her schedule so I would feel comfortable and ready before walking into the audition room!
Julia truly cares about her students and has such a heart and passion for music. She is such a blessing to me and her other students!

Julia is an amazing teacher. She not only is extremely helpful, but immensely inspiring. I worked with her for 2 years on some piano, but mostly voice. She helped me find confidence and grew my voice. Julia helped me with my college auditions and showed me my first art songs and arias, that I now sing on the daily as a Vocal Performance major at Chapman University. I highly recommend Julia for anyone. She is a gracious and kind soul and knows teaching methods for different types of students.
