Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My teaching style aims to hand you the knowledge and skills necessary to free you to do what inspires you. My first question to students is, "What do you want from music?" The skills needed to play John Prine songs are different from those needed to improvise ripping electric solos in an afrobeat band. Tell me what you want to do, and I'll get you there as fast as I possibly can!

I took guitar lessons with Ray many years ago, as a beginner musician. Lessons were always loose and fun, but also motivating. I remember always wanting to practice when I got home. Looking back, I think the most outstanding aspect of Ray's teaching was that he was able to give me material that was appropriate for a beginner but that was also just GOOD music. Now, years later and as a professional musician in my own right, I still go back to those old tunes, either to play them or just to listen.
