- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
How I get paid? I work based on a $150 an hour basis, but people hate that, so I charge that based on the number of hours I believe it'll take me to design something....so it's more of a flat fee...If I go over hours, I will let you know, but usually I never have that problem, unless you have difficulty making decisions and we have to change things more than twice ;-)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. We schedule a Consultation! This $150 consultation fee gets credited back to your account if you book me! 2. I send out a Design Fee Quote of the areas we are working on. 3. You love me and I love you--you accept quote and we do some small admin things; i.e. Contract, 50% of Design Fee Retainer & we get started on the next step! 4. You start a secret Pinterest board of which areas we are working on 3. I design an Inspiration Board via email and put together the budget and y'all approve. 4. You send Funds for me to order items 5. I purchase all items and we work towards an install date. Usually 4-6 weeks out from Design Board Approval 6. I execute an install day with a handyman and my team and you walk into an HGTV moment...where you cry and you LOVE WHERE YOU LIVE! 7. Project gets wrapped up with billing and any monies owed to me or credited back to you. 8. Then you get addicted and come back for more areas of your home ;-)
