FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
On a typical first consultation, I will walk through the space or rooms that my client would like help with. I usually have a sense of how things should flow when I walk in, and then I will start to put the puzzle together of how to lay out their furnishings. We will spend some time getting to know eachother and I will ask specific questions to get an idea about their lifestyle, daily routines, interests, and goals. Then we will come up with a plan of action!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recieved my Bachelor of Arts degree in 2000. During my college education, I started my career in Visual Merchandising and continued this career for the next 15 years, working for companies like Anthropologie, Restoration Hardware and Urban Outfitters. I utilize the skills I acquired in this profession for all of my clients' homes now.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with busy households of working parents and school-aged kids, grandparents downsizing, young single professionals and couples that want to redecorate their homes. I have also staged homes for sale.
