- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, I either have students take half hour lessons or hour lessons and we mutually decide when those lessons take place, Currently I have students pay before they receive the lessons. I do not do makeups. The times we schedule are the times that the lessons happen each month. The day and time can change from month to month if both teacher and student think that is the best.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually have someone try out one lesson with me to make sure it is a good fit for both of us. Then if we both decide to go on, I try to tailor lessons to the level of where they are at and we set goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Music from University of Northwestern St. Paul I have taught for 26 years. I've taken voice lessons through several teachers since college days and studied jazz piano as well. I am currently taking a class on music film scoring and I perform about 175 concerts each year.
