FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In order to keep my prices extremely reasonable I price based on what each client needs. Sometimes my contracts look "a la carte" because a client will need help with catering, florist, and DJ, but not full planning. There is no reason for me to charge for "full planning" if that isn't needed. So each contract is different and catered to exactly what my client needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer free consultations. I like to meet with new clients, discuss their event, they "feel" and "design" they want and how they want the overall experience to go. I like to get to know them better as a person/people so I can make sure I am providing them with an event that fits who they are. I then determine exactly what level of service they need, a provide a contract specific to that so that I meet their every need.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in the event world for almost two decades. I started in high school with prom and homecoming and continued in college with my sorority. While working in the corporate world I took on the role event management and coordination for large events my company would host or throw and I personally planning and coordinated 5-10 weddings a year for friends, family, and family of friends. I have a background and degree in theatrical scenic design as well which helps me design and plan events based on visions and ideas my clients have.
