Introduction: While I highly respect and admire those who make a living out of their photographic art form, I likewise believe that professional photography services are inaccessible to far too many. For that reason, my mission is to provide professional qualitu fine-art photographic services to couples, families, organizations and businesses looking for the afordable preservation of moments and memories. Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, I grew up with a camera in my hand. I was fortunate enough to have been raised in one of the most beautiful places on the planet, which provided me with ample opportunity to capture an infinite amount of moments and memories around my mountain hometown. My father is a physician by trade and a hobby photographer, and his interest and talent in the medium influenced my own preference of medium. It wasn't until later (after I already started my college career) that I decided to pursue a degree in photography and fine art. I graduated with a B.A. in Art with a focus in Photography from Elon University in December of 2014. In addition to my love of art, I have an equal passion for social justice and non-profit work. As a consequence, all of my published photographic work has been created for the furthering of non-profit organizations' missions. These include the North Carolina Therapeutic Riding Center, the Foundation of Hope for the Research and Treatment of Mental Illness and, most recently, City Year. I am incredibly grateful to have had - and to continue to have - the opportunity to combine two of my greatest interests in the early stages of my professional career, and I look forward to more!
