FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to have a face to face meeting. I feel it is important to get to know you as a couple, and for you to get to know me as a person. Our first meeting would be your consultation, where we will talk about what you envision your wedding to be and how I can help. I want you to be comfortable letting me handle the details for you on your wedding day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Wedding and Event Planner, former Director of events for the International Special Events Society and for the Denver chapter of Wish Upon a Wedding. I attend numerous educational conferences a year that keep me current on trends and upcoming products and services.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be yourself and put it all out on the table. What are your expectations, what are your fears, what are your hopes. It is important that you connect with your vendors. If you hire someone just because they have a better price, but you didn't make that connection, you may find you are very unhappy with their services. Another thing is read the contracts! You may get into a hurry and not even realize what you are signing for which can cause problems later on.
