I love going to my lessons with Maria (: I feel very comfortable with her teaching; she is very supportive & encourages me to do things with my voice that I never thought I could do. In less than a year with her, she gave me a strong foundation about vocals, really focusing on technique. She is very attentive & cooperative in helping me get where I want to be with singing. I'm amazed by the progress I've made in such short time.

I decided to take vocal lessons after my second year of law school, for stress relief. I'm super shy when I sing, so I'm really happy I found Pilar! She's understanding, patient, and encouraging. She has great explanations, helpful exercises, and fun unexpected tricks to get you out of your head when you're overthinking things! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!

My voice has grown so much in the short months I've had lessons with Pilar. She is very attentive to the student's voice and teaches accordingly. Pilar immensely helped eradicate my bad habits I developed from previous voice teachers and helped improve on my technique. I highly recommend her!!

Since taking lessons with Pilar I've learned great techniques that have opened up my voice to heights and depths I haven't heard in a long time. Richness and quality are developing with every lesson I take. I appreciate her challenging me to bring out my best. The tools she's given me so far have worked wonders. I recommend Pilar to anyone wanting an experienced coach! She's AMAZING!!! Thank you again for all your help!

I very much enjoyed being Pilar's student and I wish I had more time with her (I had to move away due to school, but if I hadn't, I would have definitely continued my lessons with her). Pilar created an environment that allowed me to feel comfortable with my own voice -- she was always very encouraging and patient with me. She cared about my well-being and believed in my singing abilities even when I doubted myself. She listened to my voice very carefully and quickly identified areas in which I could improve on -- from there she presented exercises that would help me get better. Pilar is the best vocal teacher that I could have asked for and I'm very glad that I had the chance be taught by someone as amazing as her.
