Introduction: I specialize in creating and performing meaningful, artfully crafted, one of a kind ceremonies. I collaborate with couples by having them answer a series of questions that help me understand their unique story and then I write them a custom ceremony that they get unlimited edits on....we work until it's perfect! What makes me stand out from other Officiants is my training from The Celebrant Foundation & Institute where I trained in the art & history of ceremony writing, ceremonial speaking, and ceremony management. Millissa was amazing ! I had a small intimate wedding with close family and she made it very special, she took exactly what we felt and put into words . She was on time and she was never hard to reach . Working with her was very easy going and she was also extremely pleasant to work with. I highly recommend her services !

Millissa was more than we could have hoped for as our wedding officiant. We were looking for someone who would personalize our ceremony to reflect our relationship as a couple. She took the time to meet with us and was in constant communication with us. She is a gifted writer--the script she wrote for our ceremony was thoughtful, creative, and exuded joy and love. As we read the script it was like discovering our love all over again and how it has grown over the years. I highly recommend her services! My husband & I are beyond grateful we found Soul Ceremony.

My now husband and I decided to be spontaous one Sunday afternoon and get married. We came across Millissa and boy are we glad we did. Same day notice and not only was she more than happy to help us but she made it fun and memorable. She had a wedding booked before us and told us she can meet us as soon as she was done. I offer a 15% discount off my website rates for couples who book me through Thumbtack. My quotes reflect this discount.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If clients would like to meet in person before their event, I offer a no obligation, complimentary consultation- hassle-free of course! If we decide we’re a good fit and the couple wants to work with me I use a questionnaire process that helps me get to know who they are as a couple. I use their answers to personalize the narrative sections of their ceremony. This makes for a beautiful, touching wedding ceremony, both for the couple and their guests.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of The Celebrant Institute and Foundation, where I studied the art and history of ceremony writing, performance, and management. I am also an ordained, non-denominational minister through the Universal Life Church.
