FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My sessions are designed to give clients a TON of value. I have a lot of experience in the strength game and love passing it on! That said, if you are a price shopper, I'm probably not be the best fit for you. But if you're willing to pay a little extra to have the best barbell training experience out there, I'm your guy.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we discuss your background, goals, and past injuries. Then we design a training program including weight lifting, cardio, nutrition, supplements, mobility, and accountability. If desired, we track progress with bodyfat testing. Then we teach proper technique on the main barbell lifts- The Squat, The Shoulder Press, The Bench Press, Chin Ups, and The Deadlift. We perform four warm up sets and two working sets where the final set is taken to failure (this is the key to building strength & muscle). We add a little weight to the bar each time we perform a movement and get strong over time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In my past life I worked as an Industrial Engineer, so I'm a BIG numbers guy when it comes to tracking progress. I have invested a lot into my education, obtaining the following certifications: -CrossFit (Level I, Basic Barbell Training, Mobility & Movement, Olympic Lifting, and CrossFit Football) -Starting Strength (with Mark Rippetoe) -National Academy of Sports Medicine (Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist) -National Council on Strength & Fitness (Certified Personal Trainer)
