- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices can vary under various circumstances, but for the most part the CUSTOM WEDDING PACKAGE is $300-$500 and INCLUDES: Introductory meeting, in person or by phone Planning Meeting in person Guidance with writing your own promises Custom Ceremony Supplemental ceremonies - Unity candle, Memory Box, Sand, etc. Note: If I am requested to facilitate a full rehearsal on a separate date, there is an additional fee of $150-$250. Fee could be lower or higher depending on location of the venue and your needs. I will give you a firm quote when we have your information.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we communicate by phone or email to obtain some basic information, I. e., date, venue, etc. I check availability and then proceed to schedule an Introductory Meeting, either in person or by phone. This gives the couple an opportunity to interview me and see if I am a good fit for them. If I am so fortunate to be chosen, we will continue with the contract signing, payment, and Planning Meeting. If the couple is undecided, a second meeting will be scheduled, however, their date will not be secured until we have a signed contract and full payment. The Planning Meeting involves gathering information about the couple and the type of ceremony they want. Then we put our heads together and craft the perfect ceremony for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My formal education gave me the "book knowledge" in behavioral psychology and journalism. My life education gave me the "working knowledge" and experience that 48 years of marriage brings. I feel this gives me the perspective and insight that enriches my relationship with my couples.
