- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the National College of Exercise Professionals in 2012. I was a Drill Sergeant in the U.S Army. I am a certified Holistic Nutritionist. Plus I just love food, I was a cook for 10 years at all different types of restaurants so I love food and sharing recipes for amazing healthy meals at home.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
To be completely honest it was my wife! We both spent years in the restaurant industry and it was very enjoyable because of our love for people but for her there was something missing. And that thing was Fitness. Because of her background in Ballet and mine as a U.S Army Drill Sergeant it just made sense and I truly followed my wife into her passion and found that it was much more fulfilling and I was much more passionate about Fitness than I was about serving pancakes! 😂
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I’m so proud of all of my clients but Danny is a great example of what you can expect. Danny, a Dad, husband, and full time factory worker thought the active nature of his job would sustain his health but he had gained 30 unwanted pounds and was up 2 pants sizes since he began working there. After his first month meeting only twice a week he was down 3 inches in his waist and dropped 12 lbs. He is so proud of himself for changing his habits because now his kids like to exercise with him at home! I feel like exercise changed his entire family and that is exactly what I wanted.
