Under Robin’s expert guidance, lower back pain that I’ve been suffering with for many years has diminished greatly, and at times, totally gone. Besides also improving my flexibility, she has provided me with stretches that I can do at home that continue to improve my health. For years I did exercises and stretches that helped, but not to the extent that Robin did. Form follows function and Robin’s expertise ensures you get the form correct.Mar 11, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have a flat rate per hour. If more than one person wants to join a semi-private group I will adjust rate. My fee will reflect additional $5 or $10 if travel time takes longer than 30 minute drive.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I ask questions and pay great attention to movement patterns of the client, noting range of motion, coordination, postural alignment, ease or difficulty with various types of movement. I will ask the client what their goals are and why they choose to address them at this time. I want to know what they want to get from working with a private teacher and why, so I can meet them where they are.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have an MA from NYU in movement studies and dance. I have studied human anatomy, biomechanics. In my ongoing studies for yoga and ACE personal training certification, I take workshops and classes to update my education.
