Introduction: DUE TO COVID, I AM NOT TRAVELING TO CLIENTS OR HAVING THEM COME TO ME. Only if you are willing to have sessions remotely on ZOOM, please contact me. Otherwise, for the time being we must protect each other's health. I primarily work with seniors (50 plus) because that's my niche. I have expertise teaching yoga and fitness exercise, including people with active arthritis, stretching, cardio, yoga, strength and balance exercise. I offer exercises and yoga poses that are safe and within the range of the individual for improved strength, flexibility and mind/body centering. I have an MA from NYU in dance and movement studies. As a former student of modern dance and ballet, I have a comprehensive understanding of movement and anatomy. I am certified as a yoga instructor and an ACE certified personal trainer I am also certified in pilates on the mat and may incorporate these movements into classes and private sessions. I can assist you to set up a personal fitness regimen, teach you good biomechanics and form for exercising with weights, strengthen and stretch to promote a healthy back and better posture. I have tried reiki, massage, acupuncture, PT, chiropractor and pain management. None have worked as well as my one to one training for movement and fitness. Robin is soft spoken, patient and very clear in her instruction. She is also focused on me and my experience with the exercises. I have not found that with other professionals. They either don't listen or in a hurry to get the therapy done asap or both. NOT SO Robin. She takes her time to explain the physiology and benefit of the workout. I, finally, feel like I will get back to normal with her instruction and encouragement.

Robin is an excellent personal trainer/yogi instructor. She motivates without passing judgement. She is very experienced and her wide knowledge of alignment helps insure you are in proper form while exercising. Robin is very responsible , personable and always on time.

Robin is one of best personal trainers and yoga teachers that I have had. She is so knowledable of the body and mind, and has tremendous patience and compassion. She will cater to your needs and sees clients of all ages. I highly recommend Robin to you for private sessions!

Robin was patient and honest with her evaluation.She challenged me to reach to greater levels of my training. Her explanation and demonstration were clear and concise. At the end of the hour I felt like it was time well spent.

Robin is a gem. She specializes in working with people who are middle aged and older, which is very unique for a trainer, I think. She really works hard to determine how to help restore strength and flexibility without pushing you in ANY way, so you NEVER hurt. She is a wizard at modifying yoga and/or pilates practices to accommodate those with back, neck, knee, hip, shoulder or wrist problems -- you name it! Robin really looks at your form and takes corrective action in the moment, so you are performing the movement correctly. She takes questions, makes lots of suggestions, but never forces her way of doing things on anyone. If a modification you are doing on your own is working for you, even if she has never seen it, (and as long as you are not hurting yourself), she encourages you to continue with it. I cannot recommend Robin enough! I was quite ill for a time and needed to get back into exercising, and I have quite a few challenges to work around. She has been able to help me see that my body can still get better and that my strength and flexibility can improve through her approach.
