Introduction: A native speaker from China who is fluent in Mandarin and English, received my Master degree in International Business from University of Sydney, and TCSOL (Teach Chinese to Speakers of Other Language) Certificate from Teachers College, Columbia University.
I had worked in fashion industry in Shanghai for many years. After moving to New York City in the year of 2014, I have changed my focus to mandarin teaching.
I have worked at several different bilingual schools/programs in NYC, and I have plenty of experience working with multi-cultural students.
Also, as a parent of a two-year-old boy, I love working with young children. I enjoy teaching kids exploring the world with Mandarin.

Sonia provided great and valuable lessons to my son. Upon hiring her, we acknowledged that she has the Teaching Chinese certification from Columbia University, which definitely did not disappoint us with her great teaching skills. She is also extremely patient with the young child and her class is fun and exciting, as well. Highly recommend Sonia to anyone who and who's kid wants to learn Chinese/Mandarin.
