Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am a certified RRCA running coach and ACE Personal Trainer, and have been working with individuals of all fitness levels since 2011. Running is my specialty, and I have had success with many clients who wish to get fit, tone-up, and build endurance through a combination of jogging/running and strength work. I have 15+ years' race experience (3:01 marathon PR) and am Co-Founder of the Maasai Marathon in Kenya. I have experienced both sides of a race's organization, and I know racing inside out. Whether you want to run your first 5K, complete a half-marathon, get back into fitness after pregnancy, or tackle a 100-mile ultra, I make your goal my own. We'll work closely together to keep you on-track and injury-free, building endurance and strength gradually. Hydration, nutrition, race strategies and event prep are all included. For the new runners out there, as a mother of young kids, I understand what it is to have to build up fitness from scratch. I will listen and am empathetic (running can be intimidating!), but I will also be sure to keep you on your toes. It makes me so proud to see a client progress, working through the tough runs or moments of self-doubt, to cross the finish a stronger runner.

My life had become the most hectic, crazy & tiring that it had ever gotten. Becoming a mom, commuting 2-3 hours a day...and barely sleeping can create a lot of commotion in life. I found myself needing something for just me...and as the universe has it...I saw a post from Sarah on a Facebook group for moms. I was interested mostly in what a Running Badass might be...maybe I could be? This coming from a self-proclaimed anti-runner, who hated it. I didn't have much of a choice for exercise due to a strenuous, daily commute and above all being a mommy to a 1-year old. Running was the most logical choice for me and it was something that would fit in my schedule, and I could also run with my baby..So, I nervously contacted Sarah. She took me by the hand with such acceptance and reassurance that I could definitely do this challenge and we agreed I would train for a 10k! I wanted something meaty because I felt like it would give me a sense of pride that was necessary for me. By my 3-month mark with Sarah's expert guidance and inspiration, I hit that 10k and completed it! Sarah ran by my side, the whole race! She is so committed to her team & it shows every day! How many coaches run WITH you your first time!? She gave daily inspiration, her talks were so helpful and she is committed just as much as you are to your goals! Sarah helped me become the Running Badass I NEVER knew I was!

This past year I began training for my first marathon. A family member who regularly runs marathons had worked with Sarah before, and put us in contact. We connected over the phone, had a great conversation, chatted about goals and methods. Incredibly knowledgeable and easy to get along with, she proceeded to design a training schedule, scheduled weekly phone calls, and gave me the advice and, essentially the coaching, that I needed to cross the finish line. She is highly organized, extremely knowledgeable, and simply great to work with. It was her guidance, and expertise that kept me on track to run and finish the Edinburgh Marathon. I will absolutely work with her again, and for those thinking working with her, I would highly recommend giving her a call.

Having employed Sarah as my running coach now for nearly 6 months I can honestly say she is one of a kind, approachable, knowable with the right dash of ass kicking when needed. She never fails to deliver and I am very grateful to her for getting me back on track with my running and her enthusiastic approach to all the surprises I threw her way.

Sarah has been my running coach since the beginning of the year. She's been amazing -- responsive and friendly and keeps up with changes in my schedule to make sure that my training is correct for where I am both time and ability-wise.

Sarah had a really good sense of how to set up my training plan. After a couple of conversations and one run, she knew how I should "push it" a little more, and how I should back off. She was also really good about keeping in touch by phone and email, and checked in periodically to hear how things were going and go over strategies for the upcoming week of training. Sarah knows her stuff!
