- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every Voice and piano lesson is tailored to your individual learning levels, so that you are always challenged and having fun. For all Singing and Piano lessons online- It's great if you have a pair of headphones so we can contain the sound, and avoid feedback. I will teach you a method of singing technique based on "Emotion Centered Singing" which was passed on to me by my teacher in Australia. This technique helped me immensely in finding my voice and expand my range. This technique will truly help you understand music beyond melody. It will help you understand music through text, individual interpretation and story telling. The styles I teach are Musical Theatre Singing, pop, RnB. If these are routes you would like to take, I would love to help you on your way there. I will help you choose repertoire for auditions and performances, or even learn that song for a birthday party or special occasion. We will work on breathing, performance, audition technique, holiday songs, and many more fun things!!!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor of Music with (Honors) from Western Sydney University. I also posses over 15 year experience as a professional performer; everything from Off- Broadway to traveling shows, concerts and corporate venues.
