- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer packages, increments of 3-hour long sessions. These packages include: - one hour initial in-home consultation - session(s) to declutter and organize - depending on the package, a few donation drop-offs - space and storage solutions planning and recommendation - personalized guide to help you follow our method for success - unlimited phone and text message follow-ups for two weeks after project completion. If shopping for recommended storage items is requested, it will be an extra charge. The more sessions are booked and purchased, the higher the discount rate. Please refer to our pricing page.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a brief phone conversation, I will come by your home or office to assess the space and current state. We will discuss what "success" means to you, what is your goal with the organizing. Then we will put together a personalized action plan, and an estimate, along with the agreement. After your questions are answered, you will return the signed contract with 50% of the purchase price to guarantee your time on our calendar. Then we will work in your space, we will declutter together, then organize (you can decide here if you'd like to participate or let us finish this step) After you are satisfied with the result, we will wrap up with a short walk-through and final finishing touches to see if it will work for you or needs slight adjustment. For two more weeks we will be happy to help you on the phone or in text messages if you have questions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have always strived for simplicity. Space design is what my passion lies, learning about each client what works or doesn't work for them, how they use their home or office, and I adjust my approach to each activity and lifestyle. My greatest accomplishment has been so far when I decluttered and redesigned my Mother's whole home, where she's lived for the past 40 years, with all the accumulated belongings one can imagine!). The process took me a month, but now the quality of her life is elevated, due to the simplicity and comfort I've created for her.
