- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1st session is no charge (1 hour ). Getting a baseline. Body composition measurements. Going over your specific goals, nutrition, exercise history, limitations such as injury, or medical conditions. Then get a workout in. All in first session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm certified by NFPT (national federation of personal trainers). Personal Training certified, NFPT Fitness Nutrition Specialist certified, NFPT Weight Training Specialist certified. CPR certified. 10 years experience.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used to workout in my garage at home as a teenager. Of coarse I did it all wrong and didn't know how to eat right. Then I bought a YMCA family gym membership so I could bring my family (mother, 2sisters, 2brothers). I would drag them to the gym with me, willing or not Lol. I helped them learn how to workout even while I was learning. I knew then I wanted to be a personal trainer. So I got certified eventually and got my 1st training job at la fitness, where I worked my first 5 years.
