First let me start by saying that this might be the second time that I have actually written a review on any service my wife and I have received. Though I am constantly reviewing other post and reviews written by others. I thought it was only fair that I share my experience and thoughts about the pool renovation I had completed by Crystal pools. What's important to me when I choose a contractor are the following, 1. That they can actually perform what they say they can, 2. That the contractor will be onsite more times than he'll be off site during construction, 3. Any questions I may have along the way, will be answered in a timely manner and LASTLY and most important that the final product is what I was promised. My first skeptisem came when Kevin, owner of Crystal pools along with his Dad Jeff, told me that they would not have to bust up all my cool deck around my pool in order to lay the travertine my wife and I wanted. I asked if they had done this before and Kevin immediately gave me several clients that I could call and go visit to review the same project we wanted. I choose one, went by, and was amazed at the job...all other contractors were asking me how to do the job...let me just cut to the chase. During construction Kevin was on site 90 % of the time. His crews were polite considerate and they also answered any question I had. I'm a very precise individual which can be hard on contractors at times , to say the least, but Kevin, any time I thought something was off, and I mean even when I thought an item was 1/8 off from another , Kevin never questioned me he just fixed it. I think some people would call that OCD.....Kevin just called it , " What the customer wanted ". Kevin gave me a 3 week window and the job was done in 2. Kevin's dad, Jeff, was also on site quite a bit. What I liked best about that was that Kevin, to me is new school in pool building and Jeff is old school. I believe Jeff has been in the pool Construction business for over 35 plus years. I myself am an old school guy but love the idea that there are always new ideas. The new pool has by far exceed all expectations that my wife and I could have hoped for. I interviewed multiple pool builders and could not be more pleased with Crystal pool, Kevin and Jeff. The job has been completed now for about 2 weeks. Kevin still contacts me to follow up on my satisfaction, go find that somewhere now a days. Ok, I hate testimonials, but yet everytime I buy a product or have service done what do I do, I read the reviews. So there you go my review on Crystal pools is thru the roof. I hope this helps anyone looking to build a new pool or just renovate like I did. One last thing, if I had to describe Crystal pools along with Kevin and Jeff the one word I would use, PRIDE.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every job/yard presents new challenges/materials/sizes. So a quote is always custom.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Firstly I'll meet with the client and measure their yard then go over photos and gather information of what they like. I want to build and design their pool not one I want for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Father is a carpenter by trade and he's been doing this for over 40 years. I have been around it most of my life but I went to college originally for architecture and took drafting classes and eventually graduated in business management.
