Introduction: Making the decision to come to therapy can often be difficult. I strive to create a comfortable and supportive atmosphere to help foster change and overcome challenges. I work together with my clients, as a team, to help each individual create their own pathway to healing. My approach is based on forming a collaborative relationship with each client. I am licensed as a Mental Health Counselor with 20 plus years of experience, including, but not limited to, treating anxiety, depression, substance abuse, chronic mental illness, relationship issues, as well as trauma (sexual abuse and assault, domestic violence, grief, homicide survivors and victimization from other crimes). I provide my clients with a safe and supportive environment where they feel comfortable in openly sharing their perspectives, hopes, aspirations, fears, and treatment goals. I strive to not only listen to my clients but to truly hear their messages and stories.
I absolutely love working with individuals to help them achieve whatever their potential looks like. The interaction and rapport building is of utmost importance when it comes to connecting with each individual on a therapeutic level. I providing an unconditional environment where individuals feel safe and not judged.
I meet with my clients in my office or via Skype or FaceTime if they are unable to come to the office.
