FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always sit down new clients and really discuss things in full from their fitness needs and goals, to what they can expect from me during training. We will go over the proper paperwork together, full health, nutrition, and fitness evaluation to help me develop the best program i can possibly create based on your fitness level, disabilities, and eating habits. Everyone i different and i want the client to not feel like a client, more like a friend who cares and wants to help them push to their goals just as much as they do.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an athlete my entire life, from soccer, track n field, to basketball, and football. I joined the Marine Corps in 2006 and started competing in Powerlifting shortly after. I started competing professionally in the sport when i returned from Afghanistan in 2009. I still currently compete a couple times a year professionally. I am a certified Coach and trainer and am very passionate in helping others.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When i started competing, i would have others come up to me or message me wanting to learn how to lift. I remembered when i was younger and i wanted to learn how to lift heavy and i asked the typical big guy in the gym some simple questions and he choose to ignore me. I always told myself, if i ever got bigger or got into a position where people wanted to pick my brain for knowledge, i would always give them that time. Then i realized with my background i was able to help all people, not just lifters, but people who wanted to lose weight, wanted to gain strength, muscle, tone up, so thats what i started doing.
