FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unfortunately I do not accept health insurance unless it is the Health Savings Account (HSA Account). The consultation fee is the same as the regular fee per session. The fees for counseling are $90 per session. This includes couples and individual counseling. Pre-marital counseling is specifically for couples preparing for marriage and requires 8 sessions to obtain the certificate to receive a discount for the marriage license. These sessions are $50 per session and do not include couples needing additional relationship counseling. Youth under 18 years of age fee is $50 per session. Marriage Officiant cost is flexible starting at $150.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Pre-marital and Marriage Counseling Clients are asked to complete a different intake form than Individual Clients. Those intake forms are e-mailed to the clients and they can either complete them and e-mail their intakes to me or bring them to the first session. Each client upon arrival is welcomed into my office with coffee, tea, water and snacks to make them feel at home. The sessions are very informal and relaxing. Usually we get a feel for each other and discuss the issues that the clients want to work on. After the session, we schedule the next appointment and put a plan together to help the client work towards their goals of being healed.
