FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Whatever plan you choose--regular sessions on an ongoing basis, short term consultation, or full concierge package--discounts are available. A short--half hour--consultation to judge whether we would be a good fit for each other is free. Full single session price is $60. A 10 session package is $50/session. The full concierge package is $120/month and includes periodic in-person sessions as needed and unlimited discussions via text, email, facetime, etc. This package is discounted to $100/month if paid a year in full. As an example of how concierge might work: You might need four in-person one month to set up a plan and learn it; the next month you might be cruising along well and need just 6 emails to answer questions; the next month you might develop a shoulder pain and need to revisit your plan and also decide you want to work on your eating habits. All of these months would be covered under the plan. Given the going rate in this area for personal training is between $65 and $90 per session, any of my plans will save you money.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with a short free consultation to learn more about your goals and also to allow you to learn more about me. It's important when you choose a trainer, that the "fit" is good. The first real session is a health and fitness assessment including health history and finding your current fitness level. Every person is different and every fitness program, therefore, must be different, too. There's no "one size fits all" in fitness or nutrition.
