- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I ask for a flat fee of $50 per lesson with the first one FREE. Just to make sure it is a fit for you as a student and I as a teacher.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Start off with a little background from one another to get a feel of where the student is currently at. Start with very basic fundamentals such as counting and proper wrist movement. Usually try to find a song that the student likes or wants to learn and then work on that.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since I was in 5th grade (15) years ago, I have been involved with many sorts of different musical activities. Including group lessons, private lessons with professionals, Masterclasses that involved professional guidance on many percussion instruments including Snare Drum, Marimba, and Timpani. As for the professional world myself, I have gigged in many places in the Houston area. I enjoy playing in the Lone Star College Jazz Ensemble which I have been a part of for the past 5 years.
