While we may be different in color and culture, it is crucial to honor and respect each other as unique and equal while we all strive to live and love, positively impacting society. An individual has a right to design his/her own spiritual truth and path. To validate a religious system with one's personal beliefs does not require the invalidation of all other systems (Alternate beliefs don't have to be "wrong" or "misguided.") Different denominations, despite some conflicting views, can coexist peacefully. Faith, religion, worship, spirituality, or whatever someone chooses to call it, should be an open door through which anyone and everyone is welcome to walk and not a door through which anyone should be shoved through, dragged through, or manipulated to enter. If you are living your life in a way that genuinely tries to make the world a better place because you are in it, no matter how small your contributions, you are doing something right.
