Lady Rissa was the best! She married me and my husband yesterday and it was the best ceremony I could’ve had. She listened to all of the things I wanted for the wedding and executed it perfectly. She was punctual, always kept us in the know about everything she would be doing, and made sure we received exactly what we wanted for our wedding. She’s also very nice, funny, and personable. From the discovery call to the wave goodbye, our experience with Lady Rissa was absolutely phenomenal! 😃 We initially reached out to her with less than a week to spare/prepare, and with even less of an idea of how we wanted our ceremony to go. 🤯 She took the slightest of hints to work with and literally fairy-god-mothered us through curating a handfasting ceremony which suited our needs perfectly. We also had a very limited budget overall to work with and her services are affordable + well worth the investment. 👍🏼 Her energy and delivery elevated our location (backyard) to what felt like one magical moment after another. Everything else fell away that existed outside the circle. We truly felt blessed! 😌🙏🏽 Still sorting through all the pics; will try to add some later on but didn't want to wait too long before reviewing this stellar minister!! 😁

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge 200.00 with a non refundable 100.00 deposit. With gas prices being what they are, if you live an hour or more from me there will be an up-charge of from 50.00 to 75.00.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer contacts me, I give them my rates and see if the couple feels comfortable with me. If they decide to go forward with me, I collect a 100.00 non-refundable deposit, and we schedule their consultation. We chat about what kind of wedding/ceremony they want. I seem to be the Queen of non-traditional, last minute, and themed weddings. Then we get more specific and nail the details down. I usually call a week before to see if anything has changed or if there are any more questions they or I need answered.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ive been a Minister since 2006, and a I was a Justice of The Peace in Middletown, CT for 16 years.
